Shawn Dorsey is the Director of Finance at Kaufman Development where he leads capital markets and closing efforts for Kaufman’s current and future developments. His primary responsibilities include strategic analysis, proforma underwriting, financial analysis, debt/equity sourcing, and day-to-day execution. A core focus is also on building and strengthening relationships with bank-based lenders, life companies, debt funds, equity providers and the brokerage community. Shawn joined Kaufman in 2023 and has over 12 years of experience in capital markets and business development across various asset classes and markets in the United States.
