The Columbus Foundation today recognized Home for Families as one of their 5 Nonprofits to Watch in 2026, along with Dress for Success Columbus, Festa, Opera Columbus, and YWCA Columbus.

An annual program honoring innovative and impactful organizations working to strengthen and improve our community, 5 Nonprofits to Watch was launched in 2014. The Columbus Foundation recognized this year's Nonprofits to Watch during a celebratory luncheon and panel.

As part of the recognition, HFF, along with the four other nonprofits, will receive a year-long consulting engagement with local strategy consulting and project-based delivery firm UpRys to address growth, sustainability, and capacity building.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary this year, this recognition is a testament to our ongoing commitment to our mission to partner with families and youth to resolve their housing crises, strengthen financial stability, and bridge education gaps to prevent future homelessness. It is also a testament to the incredible efforts of our hard-working staff. We're incredibly grateful to The Columbus Foundation for this outstanding honor!
