A Memorable Mother’s Day Morning
Our first-ever Strong Like a Mother 5K maxed out registration days before the event! We want to share a BIG thank you to everyone who came out bright and early to Wolfe Park to support us and celebrate the strength of moms everywhere.
Smiles, high-fives, and thumbs-ups were in abundance as families ran together and kiddos celebrated mom with hand-made cards and fresh flowers delivered at the finish line. The good vibes continued after the race as kids and adults alike assembled baby baskets and created Mother's Day cards for clients in our pregnancy programs.
Our race would not have been possible without the help of our hard-working volunteers and staff. From set-up to tear-down, everyone's effort made our race day run smoothly.
We want to share a heartfelt thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Hexion, and the numerous sponsors who supported this first-year event. Mother’s Day is special for HFF because it gives us an opportunity to recognize the undeniable strength and resilience of the many mothers we serve. We're already looking forward to making year two even more memorable!

A Special Care Package for Mom
Prior to our 5K, we hosted a Mother's Day Giveaway for clients, featuring reusable bags filled with a variety of self-care items such as body sprays, candles, makeup, cozy socks, and gift cards to area restaurants. The project was truly a community effort. Thank you to Bath & Body Works, Seeds of Caring, and JPMorgan Chase & Co. for helping us make Mother's Day special for the moms we serve!
Flower Power!
Our grounds got a spring makeover courtesy of the Upper Arlington Rotary Club and the Jones Middle School Interact Club, who kindly gave their time in recognition of Earth Day. The group stayed busy muscling bags of mulch and planting flowers. Thanks to them, we have the best looking building on the block!
