Our Summer Achievers are Super Stars!
From swimming, roller skating, and learning karate to expanding their horizons on field trips across central Ohio, our Summer Achievers have been keeping busy! Recently, students learned important fire safety practices at the Central Ohio Fire Museum, and they took in a diversity of artistic expression at the Columbus Museum of Art. Thanks to a partnership with Young Money Finances, our older students have also been learning crucial financial literacy skills. As we move into the last few weeks of programming, there’s still plenty of time left for learning and growing!
We’re Collecting School Supplies!
It might be the middle of summer, but the new school year is just around the corner! Our Back to School Supply Drive runs through August 4th, and you can view a list of needed items here. You can either drop off items from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays at our office at 727 E. Main St. Columbus, OH 43205, or donate here. Every contribution helps our students start the school year prepared and ready to thrive!
Hexion's Future Philanthropists
For over two decades now, Hexion has been a remarkable partner to HFF. Their employees are regularly among our most actively engaged volunteers, from serving on our Board of Trustees to hosting donation drives and group volunteer days. Hexion staff continue to show up for HFF families — and now their summer interns are getting involved.
The hard-working interns selected HFF as this year's beneficiary of their community impact project. They planned a fundraising lunch, collected needed items, and secured donations by hosting a raffle. Because of their outstanding effort, our Canine Companions® facility dog, Tatum, took time from her busy client schedule to pay them a surprise visit! Thank you, Hexion interns — you rock!
