Cool Treats, Good Eats... and a Foam Party!
On July 21st, we celebrated HFF’s 40th birthday with a “mini birthday bash” held at our office. After enjoying a delicious lunch courtesy of the Chocolate Café and a few icy treats, our Summer Achievers students and our staff dove into a foam party filled with smiles and lots of laughter. Our President & CEO and our Facility Dog even joined in on the fun! We capped off the afternoon with a special HFF-themed birthday cake created by one of our very talented Dowd Education program staffers. Topped with strawberries and tiny houses, the dessert was a tasty tribute to HFF on our special day. A BIG thank you to our longtime supporter and friend, Bob, for sponsoring the fun afternoon festivities!

A+++ for Back-to-School Support
Did you catch us on TV?! Our Back-to-School Supply Drive was featured on ABC6 and generated quite the backpack buzz. Because of your overwhelming support, we were able to provide over 320 backpacks stuffed with everything needed for the start of school.

Those who hosted collection drives or contributed large in-kind donations on our behalf include:

Volunteer groups, including those from JPMorgan Chase, Nationwide Insurance, and Hexion, Inc. also organized supplies and stuffed backpacks ahead of our giveaway days. Thank you to all who supported this crucial initiative – whether you donated for the drive, collected school supplies, or volunteered, your efforts help make the start of school feel exciting and special for the children in our programming.
